DAWN is a tokenized experience that will accompany the Alpha version of 9Tales TCG.

The goal of this experience is:

• Incentivize gamers to play the game and give feedback to the team about the game mechanics, cards balancing, user experience and overall experience to help improve the game ;
• Provide utility to 9Tales holders in a fun and more exciting way than the usual discord giveaways ;
• Test some of the ideas in preparation for the official Beta version launch.

The DAWN experiment will run on the Polygon POS blockchain.

Players will be able to win an ERC20 token, called $YDFA, by playing and winning games in 9Tales web-hosted TCG. You can try it at https://9tales.io/alpha

Each type of 9Tales NFTs has its own daily allowance of rewardable games and reward for won games.

Once a player has used his daily allowance of rewardable games, they can still play the game but will not get $YDFA tokens as a reward. There is also a daily allowance for partnered NFT projects and ambassadors.

Players will be able to claim their $YDFA once every day (via a blockchain transaction). They will be then able to use the claimed $YDFA to purchase Mystery Boxes.

The MBoxes are on-chain ERC-1155 items. They can either be opened by the user in order to get a random prize (like Alpha cards), transferred or even sold on marketplaces like OpenSea.

When a MBox holder chooses to open it, the randomness is generated on-chain using ChainLink VRF.

We plan to add a lot more functionality to the DAWN experience.

It is important to note that the $YDFA coin is freely airdropped coin that is only intended for use in the DAWN experiment. It does not constitute a store of value and holds no long-term utility.
